"Great hotel. It all started with the owner and the stuff - kind, generous, helpful (with the luggage etc.). Then it came for the rooms. The hotel is completely renovated (2ys ago) and the apartments are super comfy and modern. The impression which has been left makes us to come again once in Friedrichshafen. I would strongly recommend Hotel Traube, not just for single travelers, but even for the families. Many thanks for your service."

"great hotel!!! very amazing food, good variety , a lot of options that were tasting insane. sauna space is really well organized, nice pool too. just wished it would be open longer than 21:00, too early of a closing time for me regarding sauna and pool. rooms had everything needed and were spacy, just bathroom could be a bit bigger"

"Update your location for restaurant confusing to hotel… besides that I’m very happy with my dining experience!!! From across the pond - in Germany for 6 days only 1 night in this region but for 12-15 meals eating out… great staff and food very solid!!! Wish more time here, be happy to spend more money there!!!! English friendly exceptional ! Didn’t stay so my rating for room should be ignored as I didn’t experience."

"Good room, but no fridge., teeny balcony. Pool and outside area lovely, sunbeds padded and comfy (saunas are nude, so chose not to visit). Lovely bar area, including large balcony with comfy seats, limited bar food menu. Fantastic breakfast selection, hot/cold/fruit/cake/coffee/various teas. Really great bar staff. Bit too restaurant isolated for us. Didn't eat in the "posh" hotel restaurant as it was either full or the menu wasn't for us, shame that the hotel bar doesn't offer higher quality choices."

"I have coeliac disease and I was well catered for here. They provided gluten free bread at breakfast and were able to tell me which breakfast items were safe, although there was no allergy labelling which would be useful. The staff in the restaurant were also knowledgeable about which dishes were gluten free."

"Amazing hotel. Room was very comfortable with nice private balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful in English. The swimming pool and spa was also fantastic and very relaxing. Location is a couple of minutes walk to the lakefront with a very quiet beach and beautiful views. Will definitely be back to stay again in future!"
